Apparel Care Instructions

A little care goes a long way. Follow these tips to keep your printed garments looking bold and crisp for years to come.

Your garments are decorated with high-quality direct-to-film (DTF) transfers. The print sits on top of the fabric, so the way you wash, dry, and store each item directly affects how long the colours stay vibrant and the design stays intact. The guidance below applies to t-shirts, hoodies, and other printed apparel.

Washing

  • Turn garments inside out before washing to protect the print from friction.
  • Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle.
  • Use a mild detergent only — avoid bleach, fabric softeners, and other harsh chemicals.
  • Steer clear of detergents with optical brighteners, which can break down the adhesive layer beneath the print.

Drying

  • Air drying is best — lay flat or hang inside out, away from direct sunlight.
  • If you must use a dryer, choose the lowest heat setting.
  • Remove garments while still slightly damp to minimise heat exposure to the print.

Ironing

  • Never iron directly on the print.
  • If pressing is needed, turn the garment inside out or place a thin cloth between the iron and the design as a barrier.

Do's and don'ts

Do

  • Store garments folded to avoid creasing the print area.
  • Wash similar colours together to keep prints looking fresh.

Don't

  • Dry clean — the aggressive chemicals can damage the print.
  • Scrub the design with brushes or rough sponges.
  • Hang on sharp hangers that could crease or stretch the print area.
